This position is responsible for improving staff retention in communities by providing appropriate support and mentoring in the workplace in order to improve understanding between council staff and their supervisors at all levels, assisting in the development of recruitment practices that facilitate indigenous recruitment. Other duties include providing advice on measures to reduce staff turnover and increasing opportunities for training and development.
Salary Level 5, $58,422 - $60,97 per annum. The employee will be entitled to a Travel Allowance of around $4,626 per annum for the occasions spent in the Communities for work purposes only.
This position is responsible for the delivery of training and mentoring support to Community Sport and Recreation Officer's (CSRO's), CDEP participants, volunteers and saff within the Central Desert Shire.
