This position forms part of the Executive Management Team and will provide leadership and direction to all staff within their directorate through guidance and encouragement in line with the organisation's objectives and Corporate Values. In addition to strong leadership skills and relevant experience within the director's areas of responsibility, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong community engagement skills and the ability to mentor and develop people and teams in a multicultural workforce.
The successful candidate must be able to show initiative and creativity in driving business improvement, will have strong business acumen and be able to effectively implement change to improve performance whilst creating a positive working environment. The key program areas are: Aged and Disability Services, Children’s Services, Commonwealth Development Program (CDP), Youth, Sport and Recreation and Community Safety Services.

Total remuneration Package at commencement ranges between $155,000 - $170,000 per annum, dependent on experience; and can be made up of salary, superannuation and a motor vehicle (with full private use component salary sacrificed).
