Works Team Leader

We are seeking an ideal candidate who has mechanical / station / farming experience who has lived or is willing to live on an Aboriginal Community and is capable of managing a wide range of ground skills in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will operate under the direction of the Council Services Manager and in accordance with Council corporate plans and policies and relevant legislation.

Ability to be culturally respectful, able to supervise, mentor and coach other staff members involved in the maintenance and development of parks, gardens, roads, waste management facilities and Council infrastructure.

Capable of understanding the importance of policies and procedures to assist with managing the day to day operations of the Council workshop, plant, equipment and vehicles.

Salary Level: 5 (68,764.45) + 6 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading + 9.5% superannuation.
