Vets Visit Willowra

Willowra had its bi-yearly vet visit on 10, 11 and 12 October. Three people in all attended; a vet, a student vet and a vet nurse.

Mental Health First Aid Training

Stephen Royes, Vaughn Hampton, Leontin Pawape, Jeff Aubert, Marlin De Silva, Rachana Sapkota, Wayne Porter, Edna Snape, Phillip Carter, Darryl Litchfield, Cindy Walters, Barbara Richards, Estelle Carter, Aloka Boteju and Minette Van Wyk.

Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) staff from Community Services – Aged Care, Children Services, Community Safety Patrol, and Youth, Sport and Recreation, participated in two days of Mental Health First Aid Training in Alice Springs on 2 and 3 August.

Atitjere Welcomes Back Tourists

Peppi Drover is happy people can visit Atitjere again.

One of the first jobs by Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) to be done in Atitjere yesterday morning was to remove the COVID-19 exclusion zone ‘NO ENTRY’ signs at the entrance to the community.

Willowra East Side Park Playground Completed

The climbing equipment.

Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) contracted two local businesses to build a playground at East Side Park in Willowra, using funds from GMAAAC (Granites Mine Affected Area Aboriginal Corporation).
