The Council’s Aged Services continue to grow and mature into a program that can meet the needs of the aged and disabled old people and young people as identified across the communities of Lajamanu, Nyirripi, Yuelamu, Laramba Ti-Tree and Wilora. There was a decrease in identified old people in Engawala during the year; however, in very recent times we saw an increase in numbers seeking care, leading to a review of the service. Yuendumu and Atitjere continue to operate as independent incorporated services. Willowra has identified a need for aged services; further research is required to establish a service.
