Congratulations to Laramba and Ti Tree.
Willowra's Local Authority decided to allocate some of its funding to provide every house in Willowra with a cleaning package. Each package included a heavy duty steel mop bucket, a mop with removable head for machine washing, a dust pan and brush, a broom, a grass rake and 50 heavy duty garbage bags.
Within 45 minutes of putting the notice up, 21 of the 40 packages were collected. Les Fry and Vivienne Martin (pictured) were the first to collect their package. Lilian Long (LA Member) and Jasmine Collins were the second to collect.
The Local Authority decided this project was a great initiative for the community and the community has really appreciated it.
Looks like Willowra has got a sparkling future.
