The Council manages 2,030 km of local roads. Most of the roads are within the Council's nine communities, however, Council also manages a number of access roads to community.

Council adopted Asset Management Plans for Sealed Roads and Unsealed Roads in November 2019 and March 2020 respectively.
The Council manages 2,030 kilometres of roads within and between communities. These plans detail all CDRC sealed and unsealed road assets with lengths and widths and planned treatments to maintain road renewal over time and detail estimated costings to achieve this.
