Located 215 kilometres from Alice Springs on the scenic Plenty Highway, Atitjere is nestled amidst the majestic Harts Ranges in the Akityarre ward. With a population of around 260 people, Atitjere also encompasses a number of smaller outstations including Mt Eaglebeak, Spotted Tiger, Irrelirre, and Foxalls Well.
Travel north from Alice Springs and turn right at Plenty Highway, then travel west for about 180 km. The road is sealed the whole way.
