Softball Championship in Ti Tree.

The Central Desert Regional Council held a successful softball competition in Ti Tree on Wednesday, 14^th August. The women from Laramba and Pmara Jutunta played off to determine who would go on to play in the NT Championships in September.

The players took ownership of the game and had their own community members officiate and played with a spirit of fairness.

Big congratulations to the Laramba team and community who gave the excursion their all, from turning up on time for the trip, sourcing the community bus and driver to ferry some of the women, to winning the tournament emphatically.   

The Laramba team will be representing Central Desert Regional Council at the NT Softball championships 13-15 September at the Jim McConville oval in Alice Springs. If you are around town on that weekend, come along to cheer on the Laramba Cow Girls.
