Youth and Communities have upgraded the Engawala Basketball court with a new concrete floor inside the caged area and surrounding it. This will significantly reduce dust and associated breathing problems, and make the space more useable for the Sport and Recreation program.

 The project was possible thanks to funding from CAYLUS that was repurposed for the project.

“This project wouldn’t have been completed without the support of CAYLUS and the Engawala Core Services team,” said Youth and Communities Manager Jacob Khumalo.
