The Atitjere Local Authority decided to provide fencing at the front of the Atitjere Recreation Hall and playground in order to stop young children from running out of the facility and onto Mica Road. They agreed to fund the project and Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) arranged for quotes to provide the fencing and the successful contractor completed the fencing last week.
CDRC staff were able to assist in removing the old bollards out the front of the site and have cleaned up the playground and Recreation Hall site. This project compliments a recently completed gas BBQ installation at the rear of the Recreation Hall.

Thank you to everyone that answered the Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) survey questions last week. The feedback is being reviewed and will be tabled at the next CDRC Ordinary Council Meeting.
