To celebrate NAIDOC week, all Council offices with the exception of Lajamanu will be closed on Monday 7th July.  Lajamanu office will be closed on Friday 15th July.  The theme for this year's NAIDOC celebrations is Serving Country: Centenary & Beyond.and proudly honours all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and women who have fought in defence of country.

Central Desert Regional Council adopted it 2014-2015 Regional Council Plan today at a Special Council meeting.  The Council's Regional Council Plan includes information about:

 - the programs, projects and activities that the Council will undertake in 2014/2015

 - how Council will fund its budget including information about changes to general and conditional rates.
