The Central Desert Shire Council adopted its 2010-2011 Annual Report today, 10th November 2011. "I am very happy to present Central Desert Shire Council’s third annual report. The Shire is still a fledgling organisation but continues to make enormous progress. I continue to be very proud of how far we have come in such a short time." said Shire President, Norbert Patrick.
The Annual Report provides the Council the opportunity to report to its community the progress it has made during the year against the Council's adopted Shire Plan.
"Getting the new Northern Territory shires running in ‘business as usual’ mode has been an extraordinary challenge for all involved. Central Desert Shire has come a long way and is very proud of the xtraordinary number of successes and achievements made in the first three years of its existence. We don’t intend to rest on our laurels and are determined to rise to even greater heights of managerial professionalism and competence." the Chief Executive Officer, Roydon Robertson commented.
Please see the Annual Report section for more information.
