This year the Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) Alice Springs Christmas party was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Friday, 27 November, with a great turnout, including friends and family. Everyone enjoyed the food and were entertained by a Karaoke competition, with four contestants including a late entry by the “Front Street Boys”. The winner, however, was Amanda Shane from Finance, with her rendition of a Shania Twain song. The crowd were delighted by the arrival of Santa, who handed out presents.

There will be Christmas parties held on the CDRC communities in December.
