Held annually at the Harts Range Racecourse, set in the majestic East MacDonnell ranges area, is the ‘Harts Range Bush Sports Weekend’ aka ‘Harts Range Races’. The NT August Picnic Races Public Holiday stem from this 60 year old tradition started at the Harts Range Racecourse, 215km East of Alice Springs on the Plenty Highway.
