In 2019 four Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) communities won commendations, and last year Anmatjere won the Litter Management Award and Yuelamu won the Water Conservation (Innovation) award.
“I’m proud to be a part of the CDRC teams that keep striving to make their communities better, aligning with Council goals and community aspirations,” said Jason McKissock. “When these awards are received the staff and community all benefit in many ways, from pride and wellbeing to an overall raising of cleanliness.”
