The plan is to use the simulators next year as an engagement tool for jobseekers volunteering to attend CDP activities who aspire to obtain work in Council Services teams or in civil and construction work in the region.
The simulators trailer will rotate from one CDRC CDP community to the next and participants will have a go at practicing on the machines.
“This is exciting!” said Jacob Khumalo, General Manager – Commercial. “It will give participants a feel of some of the activities they could be doing working in as plant operators in Council Services or construction projects”
