Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) staff from Nyirripi Aged Care (Wayne Porter) and Laramba Aged Care (Joanne Pepperill and Norelle Rice) travelled to Yuelamu to participate, and Alice Springs Aged Care staff Kabita Rajak and Asmita Dahal also attended to assist staff with the training.
Aged Care staff are required to cook meals for the clients every day so food safety is very important. Each staff member successfully completed the food safety training, ensuring food is cooked to a high standard of safety.
