In August the Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) Aged Care team in Yuelamu took some of the clients on a bush trip to Mt Denison Station with the Early Learning Centre.
The clients searched for bush tomatoes, and cooked damper, kangaroo tail and vegetables over an open fire. They made a delicious kangaroo tail stew with garlic bread. They also performed a cultural burn-off.
