This is an NT Government program for emerging Indigenous leaders from remote communities in the Northern Territory. It is used to develop and expand leadership skills, increase personal governance capabilities and learn more about the impact of government policies and programs on remote communities, in order to help influence and contribute to change.
Participants engaged with government at the highest level including an opportunity to present and meet directly with Cabinet ministers, providing advice and guidance on policies, projects and initiatives that impact on them, their families and communities.
Past CDRC employees that have gone through the program include the current president, Adrian Dixon.
Norman’s dedication to his role, to CDRC and to this program has been outstanding.
“Excellent achievement Norman – as one chapter closes another one opens – wishing you success with the NT Aboriginal Leadership Program as well. You continue to do Council and your community proud,” said Leslie Manda, Chief Executive Officer.
