Our Elders are the keepers of our culture and knowledge. They are the ones who have passed down our stories, songs, and dances from generation to generation. They are the ones who have fought for our rights and fought to keep our culture alive.
We are grateful for the guidance and wisdom of our Elders. We are inspired by their strength and resilience. We are committed to continuing their work and ensuring that their legacy lives on.
During NAIDOC Week, there will be events to celebrate our Elders in CDRC communities. Contact your Council office to get involved.
We invite everyone to join us in celebrating NAIDOC Week and in honouring our Elders.
