The project includes a modern play system, a two-bay swing set with soft-fall safety surfacing, shaded seating areas, and secure fencing with a vehicle access gate and a personal access gate. A concrete footpath and curbing were also added to enhance accessibility and ensure long-lasting durability.
This initiative was made possible through collaboration between CDRC, the Engawala Local Authority, local contractors, and the Engawala Community, with vital funding support from the Tranche 1 - Central Australia Community Infrastructure Package funding (CIP). The upgraded space now provides a safe, vibrant hub for children and families to gather, play, and connect.
Special thanks to all partners for their support in bringing this project to life!
