The CDRC stall was a resounding success, drawing significant attention from both students and the wider community. CDRC merchandise, particularly the pannikins, proved incredibly popular, with most items being snapped up within the first five minutes of student arrival.
The Ti Tree School senior students were intrigued by all the Council Services plant, machinery and equipment that was on display.
Beyond the popular giveaways, the CDRC team engaged in productive discussions with students and teachers about potential job opportunities and work experience placements in Ti Tree. Key topics included the Junior Rangers program with two core positions highlighted, and CDRC’s interest in exploring future traineeship offerings.
One student showed particular interest in work experience, and their progress will be followed up by Sascha McKell, Regional Manager, Municipal Services (East).
Darrelle Windsor, Regional Manager – People and Culture, commented, "It was a great day and a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community."
