Participants were a mix of Jobseekers and Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) staff. They learnt what Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to wear in the kitchen, how to use the different colour chopping boards, prepare food safely and how to store cooked food. They were able to test their skills by making lunch on both days by following the content they were learning.
All the participants are able to apply these new skills in their current jobs.
