The Central Desert Regional Council's 2024/2025 Plan outlines strategic priorities, operational plans, and budget allocations aimed at enhancing the well-being of residents in the Central Desert region. ​ The plan focuses on service delivery, infrastructure development, community engagement, and financial sustainability. ​

This plan aims to ensure the Central Desert region continues to grow as an economic hub, providing improved services and infrastructure for its residents.

The key themes for the 2024/2025 Regional Plan are: I Have Connection to Community, Employment and Economic Development, Our Environment Matters, and Our Role as Council is Clear.
