They use the lower part that is not split for dog water bowls around the community, thoroughly cleaning them out first with weekly cleaning after that. The top halves will be used for tree protection when planting out new trees.
“They have been at our depot taking up space that we need. This way they get a new lease on life,” said Veronica Russo, Senior Coordinator, Council Services, Engawala.
