The LGMA Australasian Management Challenge is Australia and New Zealand’s premier forum for current and emerging local government leaders. It is a sophisticated development program designed to deliver personal, team and organisational professional development.  

The Challenge has been running for more than 20 years. It is good fun, great value and a hands-on approach to leadership development that translates into relevant, tangible and enduring benefits for Council staff, teams and organisations.

Congratulation to the Central Desert's 2014 team; the "Camp Dogs".  The team shone at the competition in Darwin on Thursday.  The challenge was tough, stressful, but most importantly fun and educational. The CDRC team went exceptionally well.  Whilst Palmerston were well deserved winners on the day, the Central Desert Team was given the ‘special mention’ here for having:

Passion and Commitment that far outweighed all other teams

Well done, the Camp Dogs - your hard work paid off has done the Council and yourselves proud!
