The Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) Community Development Program (CDP) have got a working greenhouse going in Willowra to engage job seekers in the community. Ricardo Burton, Support Officer, cleared the grass from the existing greenhouse which had been neglected, and Francis Madonko, The garden is installed with a drip watering system, however it is not working correctly at the moment so the two Support Officers (including Viviane Martin and Ricardo) manually water the vegetable garden with a new hose that was installed.
“Hopefully this will encourage more participants to turn up as there will soon be fresh vegies to take home,” said Francis Madonko.
