This is not the first time Norman has participated in a leadership program, as he is a participant of 2021/22 First Circles Leadership Program. He is a leader in Yuelamu and has completed his Senior Secondary Certificate of Education, a Certificate III in Retail, and is undertaking a Certificate IV in Local Government Administration.
Norman was nominated by Acting CEO Leslie Manda, and has been further supported by his Regional Manager and Supervisor.
“Norman has the knowledge and understanding of community operations, engaging and leading by example… (his) approach to challenges is one of consideration, understanding and commitment,” said Jason McKissock, Regional Service Manager, Waste and Council Services (West) with CDRC.
