The Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) Yuelamu works crew, led by Team Leader Mack Murphy, with crew members Billy Stafford, Marcus Briscoe and Adrian Stafford, have been busy cleaning the road verges with the CDRC skid steer and attached spreader bar, over the past week.

Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) contracted two local businesses to finish the playground at West Side Park in Willowra, using funds from GMAAAC (Granites Mine Affected Area Aboriginal Corporation).

Lajamanu Roads Reseal

Lajamanu reseal work in action on Nampijinpa Street.

The internal roads of Lajamanu have been resealed with new bitumen. Central Desert Regional Council contracted Downer Edi Works Pty Ltd using funds from the Roads to Recovery (R2R) and Financial Assistance Grant (FAG).

In April Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) Aged Care received eight pallets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from the Department of Health, to help Aged Care be prepared for any winter COVID-19 outbreaks.
