Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) staff from Community Services – Aged Care, Children Services, Community Safety Patrol, and Youth, Sport and Recreation, participated in two days of Mental Health First Aid Training in Alice Springs on 2 and 3 August.

Some of the Aged Care head office staff and community coordinators are in the process of completing a Certificate IV in Disability.

Yuelamu held NAIDOC Week celebrations early to beat the school holidays, on 23 June, with over 90 people turning up for the flag raising, speeches, video presentation and barbecue.

In April Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) Aged Care received eight pallets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from the Department of Health, to help Aged Care be prepared for any winter COVID-19 outbreaks.
