In November 2022 Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) Aged Care Regional Manager Marlin De Silva, and Aged Care Senior Coordinator – East Patchouli Cross, nominated Edna Snape for the Australian Association of Gerontology (AAG) NT Aged Care Worker Award, in the category of 2022 ‘Outstanding contribution in the practice of aged care Award’.

As most of the connecting roads between communities are unsealed, that’s a lot of grading. Now the Roads Team are trialling a new technique that could see the roads last longer, require less upkeep and provide a better ride for residents.
