Council's Youth Sport and Recreation Program aims to work with communities to deliver youth, sport and recreation activities that create healthy minds, bodies and communities.

School Holiday Program

The school holidays are coming up and CDRC is getting ready. There will be activities in every CDRC community.

YSR Program

A combination of after school, vacation care, sport, recreation, art and cultural activities are delivered by the team in the following communities:

• Anmatjere (Nturiya, Pmara Jutunta, Wilora)
• Atitjere
• Engawala
• Laramba
• Yuelamu
• Nyirripi
• Yuendumu
• Willowra
• Lajamanu

Partnerships with Central Australian Youth Link-Up Service (CAYLUS) has ensured that the delivery of Youth, Sport and Recreation programs continues to grow across the whole Central Desert Region.

Special events conducted annually include:

• Imparja Cup Cricket Championships
• School holiday programs.
