Veronica Nakamarra Stafford from Yuelamu is the winner of the Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) Uniform Art Competition.

The Central Desert Regional Council bids a heartfelt farewell to Leslie Manda, who has served the council with distinction for five years, including the last three years as CEO. During his tenure, Leslie’s leadership was marked by remarkable growth and success, making a profound impact on the council and the communities it serves.

Central Desert Regional Council (CDRC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Karl Hampton as Director of Indigenous Strategy. This newly created directorate will play a pivotal role in advancing Indigenous engagement and leadership within the Central Desert region.

Wow! What a fantastic day of sport we had in Yuendumu on Saturday! Around 200 people came together to cheer on their teams. It was a perfect day for footy and softball.
